We stopped by the Zimmerman post office to drop off some Casey's donuts for the crew. No big reason - just wanted to show a little appreciation for the people who show up every day and keep things moving in our community.
These are the folks handling your packages, your mail, your bills. They're there rain or shine, and honestly, that kind of consistency deserves a nod. A box of donuts felt like the least we could do.
We brought along a branded bag from Oak Park Enterprise - not to make it a marketing thing, but because we're proud to be a local business that gives back, even in small ways. Supporting the community we work in matters to us.
At the end of the day, we're a roofing company. We fix roofs, we solve problems, and we take care of people's homes. But we're also neighbors. And being a good neighbor means showing up - not just when someone needs a new roof, but whenever we get the chance to do something good.
Zimmerman is a great little community, and we're glad to be part of it. This one goes out to every postal worker keeping things running behind the scenes.
